insulation: blue, gray, foil covered - what's the difference?
There have been some recent upgrades to our product line, most notably the “color” of our insulation products.
OBJECTIVES:
- Provide homeowners with a pre-cast insulated foundation system that meets or exceeds the current EPA and energy code regulations and is resistant to moisture which helps resist mold and R-value degradation.
- Use insulation that has passed the required flame and smoke spread evaluations. This allows the Superior Walls foundation walls to be left uncovered. Products that do NOT pass the fire test are required to be covered with sheetrock before occupancy.
